Excuse my miss-matched tea set,
But it serves it’s purpose well.
It’s heard many a story,
though those stories it will never tell.

Excuse my miss-matched tea set,
But it keeps the tea still hot.
Let your worries be quiet now,
as this pot, be not, forgot.

Excuse my miss-matched tea set,
As it isn’t very pretty.
It still holds tea steadily,
So, on it, please, don’t’ take pity.

Excuse my miss-matched tea set,
For it’s been with me many years.
It may be chipped and faded,
But it has seen many, many tears.

Excuse my miss-matched tea set,
As for me it is simply surreal.
It may be a little broken,
But to me it’s the real deal.
