Let’s Take a Moment to Ponder

Gratitude.
A little word with a big punch.
It saddens me that there is so little gratitude nowadays.
Things are expected and taken advantage of, rather than accepted with gratitude and grace.
Have we become so unbelievably self-absorbed, that the little things in life no longer hold any value?
Well, I believe that it’s the little things in life that mean the most.
I am thankful for the smallest of moments.
That first sip of coffee in the morning……..
Thank you.
The smell of the rain as it hits the parched earth in summer…….
Thank you.
Having a bee land on me while in the garden…….
Thank you.
For having people in my life that bring me joy, lift my spirits and make me laugh out loud when they try to get a selfie with the Kmart security guy……

There needs to be more of this in our every day lives.
We need to take little moments, every single day, and find something to be thankful for.
Even if you are having a horrid day and cannot fathom repeating it tomorrow.
Find one tiny little thing to be thankful for and hold onto it.
It can be as simple as, the computer acting as it should! Or, you didn’t get your tshirt stuck on the corner of the bench again, for the 100th time!
Whatever the moment, be thankful for it.
Even say it out loud, or whisper it to yourself.
Just be thankful.
And on that note, I want to thank each and every one of you that has shown your support for my blog! It means the world to me that people (from all over the world!!) are reading my little blog and enjoying it!
